Lario Oil & Gas Company is a privately owned independent oil and gas company. We participate and operate domestically in California, Permian Basin, the Rockies, Mid Continent Region, Central Oklahoma, Arkoma Basin, South Texas, Black Warrior Basin and internationally in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The Company pursues an organic growth opportunity at low finding costs by exploiting its inventory of lower-risk development opportunities and the use of 3D seismic. A large portion of the Company’s drilling inventory consists of unconventional resource plays targeting tight gas and oil. Investment focus is rate of return oriented, and resources are allocated to exploration or acquisition as indicated
Lario has an inventory of long term assets in Kansas, West Texas, The Powder River Basin, and Green River Basin that compliment our shorter lived but extremely high ROR assets in the Sacramento Basin. New prospect development and acquisition opportunities have emerged in North Dakota and Oklahoma in the Bakken shale and Woodford shale respectively this year and have become the primary focus for investment.
Investment during 2009 will be constrained by low commodity pricing and unattractive risk/reward metrics in most current areas of operation with the exception of the prolific Bakken and Woodford shales.
We will continue the long term strategy of funding exploration with cash flow while considering lower risk acquisitions with outside financing where available.
